The Extension operates entirely on your local machine and respects your privacy. Here is what we do and do not collect:

• No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, IP address, location, or credentials.
• No Browser History: We do not track or log your browsing history or search activity outside of YouTube.
• YouTube Public Data: The Extension fetches public search result listings (SERPs) from YouTube when requested by your self-hosted YoutuBoost dashboard. This data is only used locally to calculate keyword metrics (average views, likes, tags, and difficulty).

2. Data Storage and Transmission

All data processed by the Extension is handled locally:

• Local Processing: YouTube search results are processed in the memory of your local browser.
• Dashboard Sync: The processed keyword results are sent directly to your self-hosted YoutuBoost dashboard instance (configured by you in the settings). No data is sent to third-party servers.

3. Security

The security of your data is important to us. Since the Extension does not store or collect personal data on external servers, there is no database or cloud storage susceptible to breaches. Connection to your self-hosted dashboard is secured using standard local browser protocols.
